WEEK 2 : MONDAY TO SATURDAY:25.09.2023 TO 30.09.2023
INTRODUCTION
Our second week of our second phase teaching practice is at V $ H.S.S Poredom ,from 25.09.2023 to 30.09.2023.

Reflection on school experience
We the teacher trainees alloted to Vivekananda V$ HSS Poredom , Chadayamangalam, reached school right at 9.15 am everyday, then signed our register and we stayed in our alloted classroom.
The first day of this week was sports day at school. By 9.30 we reached the ground and then by itself the students were ready for the day.Teachers of higher secondary was alloted for noting the grades and the teachers of high school was assigned by registration duties.Pushpa teacher assigned us with the duty of registration and the duty of first aid and other activities. The events conducted are walking 1500 m, shortput, long jump, 100m,400m,600m,800m,1500m running, high jump, triple jump, javelin throw,hammer throw and discuss throw were the events.All the events had completed by 4.00 pm and we left the school after signing the register.
In the second day also we all reached at 9.30 PM after signing the register we went to our alloted classroom. Today at first period I had class at 9 A There I taught the topic respiratory movements and I had substitution duty their at second period and then I covered the topicstructure of alveolusand its role in gaseous exchange. .During the third period I was free. During the fourth period I had substitution class at 9 B there also I covered the same topic.Then we had our lunch and the whole afternoon periods was free for me and at 3.40 we left the school after signing the register.
The third day Wednesday also we reached at 9.15 Am and after signing the register we went to our alloted classroom. I had class at my concerned class 9.A during the first period I covered the topics role of the structure of rbc in the conduction of oxygen in the chapter Breathing for energy. After that periods upto noon was free for me.During the 5th period I had substitution class at 9D and during the 6th period I had substitution class at 9B and in the 7th period I had substitution class at 9.A then I covered the topic role of haemoglobin in oxygen transport.we left the school after signing the register at 3.40 pm
The fourth day Thursday was holiday because of NABI DINAM.
In the fifth day also we reached school at 9.15 A.M during the first period I had class at 9.A and I covered the topic diffusion of oxygen into cells there.2nd and third period was free for me and the fourth period I had substitution duty at same class afternoon there was only one period and school had closed at 3.00 pm.
Saturday was working day as per the time table of Thursday.In the first period I had class at 9A and I covered the topic cellular respiration glycolysis phase. Next period I had substitution duties at 8.C and after that there was no classes for me and the school was only upto 3PM.
CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
During the second week the students of class 9 were taught The topic respiratory movements , structure of alveolus and its role in gaseous exchange, structure of RBC and transport of oxygen, role of haemoglobin in the transport of oxygen and diffusion of oxygen into cells ,cellular respiration-glycolysis phase was covered for them by using various aids such as charts,cutouts and ICT.
The reflective journal was also completed this week
OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
The students of class 9th standard were given teaching manual oriented activity based classroom experience.Six teaching manual of class 9 were complete effectively.The topic covered in class 9 are respiratory movements, structure of alveolus and its role in gaseous exchange, structure of RBC and transport of oxygen, role of haemoglobin in the transport of oxygen, diffusion of oxygen into cells ,cellular respiration-glycolysis phase and their function Evaluation was made by asking questions from the topics. The topics was covered by using various teaching aids such as working model,picture chart, description chart, table charts ,videos and slides. Students were given various follow up work like assignments and working model making.
