NATIONAL UNITY DAY AND INDIRA GANDHI ASSASSINATION DAY

India's first home minister Vallabhbhai Patel was dubbed “Sardar” (chief) for his leadership skills in leading the country through the struggle for independence and beyond but most notably during the integration of the princely states and also the India-Pakistan War of 1947. His birth anniversary is now celebrated as National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. 

In accordance with this day NSS unit of our college also conducted a programme and took an oath for the national integration.

    
October 31 marks the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who was assassinated on this day by two of her own bodyguards in 1984, in remembrance of iron lady of India our college conducted a programme in the  afternoon.
