TEACHING PRACTICE FIRST PHASE - WEEK 5
TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK : 5
MONDAY TO WEDNESDAY 06/11/2023 - 10/11/2023.
 
REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE 

 After the second semester exam leave we reached school today and started teaching from today.
     On the first day, Monday, six of us teacher training arrived at the school at exactly 9 30 and after that we signed the register and today we had assembly we all the trainees attended the assembly then the first period I had class 9 A which is my concerned  class.Today I taught one topic in that period "Excretion - various excretory products in man  " from the chapter Excretion to maintain homeostasis and then second period I was free so I did my works.During the third and fourth period the students had talent search examination and we all got the duty to examine students during exam.Then upto 6th period I was free and done my works.During the 7th period I had substitution class at 9B.Then we returned after signing the register at 3:45pm. 
     On the second day we the 6 teacher trainees reached school at 9.20 am and signed the register.During the first period I had substitution class at 9.B class there I taught the topic respiration in plants and the school was closed at 12.30 due to educational strike.

 On the third day we the 6 teacher trainees reached school at 9.20 am and signed the register.During the first period I had class at 9.A class there I taught the topic different excretory organs in man.Then from the second period there was spoken English class for interested students form standard 8,9 and 10.We also take part in it.


Then during the fifth period I had substitution class at 9B there I took the topic Excretion and excretory products in man.Then after 6th and 7th 
 Period I had no classes and we left the school at 3.40 pm.
        On the fourth day we the 6 teacher trainees reached school at 9.20 am and signed the register, today we have school assembly.During the second period I had substitution class at 9.C class. Then upto 5th period there were no classes for me during the fifth period I had substitution class at 9B there I took the topic various excretory organs in man
and during the sixth period I had class at my concerned class 9.A where I took the topic formation of ammonia, formation of urea and role of liver in Excretion.Then the seventh period was also free for me and we left the school at 3.45 pm
On the fifthth day we the 6 teacher trainees reached school at 9.15 am and signed the registe. During the second period I had substitution class at 9.A class there I taught the topic formation of sweat. During the 3rd period I had substitution class at 9B where I took the topic Role of liver in excreation. During the fourth period again I had substitution class at 9A where I conducted diagnostic test for the students.At 11.30 am an awareness play about AIDS day was conducted by Kerala governments district health mission.

Then upto 7th period there were no classes for me and we left the school at 4.00pm

CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

In this week the students 9A class were taught using of teaching manual from their Fifth chapter from part 2 of their biology textbook. The topics are  Excretion - various excretory products in man, different excretory organs in man,  and formation of ammonia, formation of urea,  role of liver in Excretion, formation of sweat.
        During the third and fourth period of first day of this week the students had talent search examination and we all got the duty to examine students during exam.
          Then from the second period of the third week there was spoken English class for interested students form standard 8,9 and 10.
          On the fifth day at 11.30 am an awareness play about AIDS day was conducted by Kerala governments district health mission.
          
  The reflective journals were also done this week.

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

     The students of 9A class were given teaching manual oriented activity based classroom experience. Four teaching manual of 9A class were completed effectively. charts, word cards and slides were prepared for 9A class . Students were given followup activities like assignments.

WEEKEND REFLECTION WEEK 1

In this week on sunday our Class teacher Sreedevi miss had arranged an online meeting for evaluating the previous week activities occurred in the school. The meeting was scheduled at 5.00 pm .Our respected principal also joined with us.Miss also gave information regarding the blog writing and lesson plan writing.All of the 9 students had participated in the meeting and the meeting was started at 5.00 pm and stopped at 5.30 pm.
