TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 2 : " TUESDAY SATURDAY " : 17/06/2024 - 22/06/2024.
Reflection on School experience
In the second day of this week ,the first day of this week was holiday because of the eid celebration, we all reached at 9.30 PM after signing the register we went to our alloted classroom. Today at third period I had class at 9 D there I taught the topic Peculiarities of plasma membrane to transport substances in and out of cell. Rest of the periods was free for me. At 3.40 we left the school after signing the register.
The third day wednesday we all reached the school at 9.30 a.m. after signing the register we went to our alloted classroom. The first hour was free for me and during the second period I had substitution class in my concerned class 9.D where I took the topic Experiment to show the transfer of water molecules through plasma membrane. Then period upto noon was free for me.Then during the fifth period I had substitution class at 9E where I took the topic Enzymes and Hormones functions and examples then the next period I again got substitution class at 9.D where I took the topic Water transport in cells through the process of osmosis.Last period was free for me and we left the school after 3.40 after signing the register.
During the fourth day of this week, we reached school at 9.15 pm.During the third period I had substitution class at 9.D where I took the topic Role of diffusion in the transport of oxygen through plasma membrane,during the fifth period again I had substitution class at 9.D where I took the next topic Facilitated diffusion and during the sixth period I had substitution class at 9.E where I took the topic process of transfer of substances into the cytoplasm in different organisms rest of the periods was free for me then after signing the register we left the school at 3.40pm.
During the fifth day of this week we reached school at 9.15 am after signing the register we went to our alloted classroom.Today was International day for Yoga and there was a yoga session at morning in the school it is organised by NSS and NCC unit of higher secondary school we also participated in this programme.Today I had a class in my concerned class 9.D at 4th hour where I taught the topic Active Transport the rest of the periods was free for me and we left the school after 4.15.
In this week saturday was also a working day .Today was the passing out parede of spc students of standard 10,the cheif guest of the programme was Minister Chinjurani (Diary development minister kerala state) and the police officers of chadayamangalam were also part of that. And there was a congratulation ceremony for best academic acheivers in previous academic year.The session begins at 8.00 pm we reached school at around 8.30 and we had a number of duities there.The programme had ended around 10.00 am and after that there was regular class.The time table for this day is of tuesday.And I had class at 9.D during the fourth period where I took the topic Structure of chloroplast during the third period I had substitution class at 9.E where I took the topic Internal environment and homeostasis. During the first period I had substitution class at 8 F the rest of the periods are free for me and we left the school at 3.00 pm.
CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
During the second week the students of class 9 were taught the topics Peculiarities of plasma membrane to transport substances in and out of cell, Experiment to show the transfer of water molecules through plasma membrane, Water transport in cells through through the process of osmosis, Role of diffusion in the transport of oxygen through plasma membrane, Facilitated diffusion,Active Transport, and Structure of chloroplast by using various aids such as charts, models, diagrams ,videos and slides
The reflective journal was also completed this week
OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
The students of class 9th standard were given teaching manual oriented activity based classroom experience. Seven teaching manual of class 9 were complete effectively.The topics covered are Peculiarities of plasma membrane to transport substances in and out of cell, Experiment to show the transfer of water molecules through plasma membrane, Water transport in cells through the process of osmosis, Role of diffusion in the transport of oxygen through plasma membrane, Facilitated diffusion,Active Transport, and Structure of chloroplast and Evaluation was made by asking questions from the topics.Students were given various follow up work like assignments and still model making.
REFLECTION ON EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
