TEACHING PRACTICE SECOND PHASE - WEEK : 4
               TEACHING PRACTICE          

TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 : " MONDAY FRIDAY " : 01/07/2024 - 05/07/2024.

Reflection on School experience 

In the first day of this week ,we all reached school at 9.30 am.During the third period I had substitution class at 9.D where I took the topic Economical importance of plants and products from it.Then during the sixth period I had substitution class at 9.E  where I the topic Facilitated diffusion there and the last period also I had substitution class at 9.D where I took the topic Enzymes and hormones - functions and examples as part of group remedial teaching in diagnostic test whole other periods are free for me and I did my works.

The second day, we all reached the school at 9.30 a.m. after signing the register we went to our alloted classroom. During the third hours I had class in my concerned class 9.D where I took the topic Environmental importance of mangroves there then during the fifth period I got substitution class at 9.E where I took the topic Active Transport there and during the last period I got substitution class at 9.D where I took individual remedial teaching based on the topic Transport of water molecules through the process of osmosis there and all other periods was free for me and I did my works. 

   During the third day of this week, we reached school at 9.First period was free for me and during the second period Ihad substitution class at 9.E during the second period where I took the topic Structure of chloroplast. Then the next period I had substitution class at 9.D where I took the first topic of the chapter Digestion and transport of nutrients i.e, Different food items, nutrients in them and its functions .Upto third period in the morning there was a class by Health club and Eco club of the school.During the sixth period I had substitution class at 9.D  where I took the next topic Importance of food plate and breakfast there rest of the periods was also free for me,  after signing the register we left the school at 3.40pm.
       The next day was holiday because of the educational strike by SFI.
        During the fifth day of this week we reached school at 9.15 am after signing the register we went to our alloted classroom.During the first period based on basheer remembrance day there was a quiz competition at school.During the 4th period I had class at 9.D where I took the topic Nutrition and stages of nutrition there. Then periods upto noon was free for me then during the sixh period I had substitution class at 9.E where I took the next topic Phases of photosynthesis.Then the next period I had substitution class at 9.D  where I taught the topic Peculiarities of amoeba and hydra and nutrition in them.Rest of the periods was free for me and we left the school after 4.15.1q

CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

During the fourth week the students of class 9 were taught the topics Economical importance of plants and products from it,  Environmental importance of mangroves, Different food items, nutrients in them and its functions,Importance of food plate and breakfast, Nutrition and stages of nutrition and Peculiarities of amoeba and hydra and nutrition in them.by using various aids such as charts, models, diagrams,videos and slides
The reflective journal was also completed this week 
     
OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE 

The students of class 9th standard were given teaching manual oriented activity based classroom experience. Six teaching manual of class 9 were complete effectively.The topics covered are  Economical importance of plants and products from it,  Environmental importance of mangroves, Different food items, nutrients in them and its functions,Importance of food plate and breakfast, Nutrition and stages of nutrition and Peculiarities of amoeba and hydra and nutrition in them and Evaluation was made by asking questions from the topics.Students were given various follow up work like assignments and still model making.

REFLECTION ON EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES 

  During the last day of this week june 5 is the remembrance day of Sri.Vaikom Muhammad Basheer, as part of the day there was a quiz competition in the school.
     During the third day of this week there was a class on the hygiene and taking care of environment conducted by the health club and Eco club of the school.

WEEKEND REFLECTION WEEK 1

In this week on sunday our Class teacher Sreedevi miss had arranged an online meeting for evaluating the previous week activities occurred in the school. The meeting was scheduled at 5.00 pm .Our respected principal also joined with us.Miss also gave information regarding the blog writing and lesson plan writing.All of the 9 students had participated in the meeting and the meeting was started at 5.00 pm and stopped at 5.30 pm.
