TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 5 : " MONDAY FRIDAY " : 08/07/2024 - 12/07/2024.

Reflection on School experience 

In the first day of this week ,we all reached school at 9.30 am.Today we had assembly and the assembly was conducted by class 10.D the prizes of various quiz competitions and essay writing competitions was distributed in the Assembly. During the first period I had substitution class at 9.D where I took the topic ' Types of digestion and parts where it took place there.Then the periods upto noon was free for me and I did my works.During the fifth period I again had substitution class at 9.D where I took the topic Structure of tooth.Then during the sixth period I had substitution class at 9.E where I took the topic metabolism of starch and its storage forms in plants.And after signing the register we went school after 3.40 pm.
The next day of this week we all reached school at 9.30 am. During the first period I had substitution class at 9.E where I took the topic Autotrophs and Heterotrophs. Then during the third period I had class at 9.D where I took the topic Process of mechanical digestion in stomach and small intestine.Then periods upto noon was free for me. Then during the sixth period I had substitution class at 9.D where I took the topic Different organs involved in swallowing of food and its importance. Then seventh period was free for me then we signed the register and went from school. 

The third day of this week we all reached school at 9.30 am. During the third period I had substitution class at 9.E where I took the topic Ocean pollution reasons and preventive measures. Then during the fourth period I had class at 9.D where I took the topic Digestion in stomach - role of salivary glands.Then periods upto noon was free for me. Then during the fifth period I had substitution class at 9.E where I took the topic Economic importance of plants and products from it. Then sixth period I had substitution class at  9D where I took the topic Role of liver and pancreas in digestion. Then the next period was free for me then we signed the register and went from school. 
      The fourth day of this week we all reached school at 9.30 am.During the third period I had substitution class at 9.D where I took the topic Digestion in stomach.Then during the fourth period I had substitution class at 9.E where I took the next topic Environmental importance of mangroves. During the afternoon a speech competition was there based on the topic 'Importance of reading day'.During the fifth period I got substitution class at 9.A where I took the topic  Kyphosis as part Physical Education syllabus.Then during the sixth period I had substitution class at 9.E where I took the topic Different type of food items - nutrients in them and its functions. Then during the seventh period I was free. And we left the school after signing the register at 3.40 pm.
     During the last week of this day during the second period I had substitution class at 9.E where I took the topic Importance of food plate and breakfast there. Then the third period I got substitution class at 9.D where I took the topic Digestion and absorption in small intestine there. Then agin during the fourth period I got substitution class at 9.E where I took the topic Nutrition-stages of nutrition there all the periods afternoon was free for me.

CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

During the fifth week the students of class 9 were taught the topics  Types of digestion and parts where it took place, Structure of tooth, Process of mechanical digestion in stomach and small intestine, Different organs involved in swallowing of food and its importance,Digestion in stomach - role of salivary glands,Role of liver and pancreas in digestion, Digestion in stomach, Digestion and absorption in small intestine by using various aids such as charts, models, diagrams,videos and slides
The reflective journal was also completed this week 
     
OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE 

The students of class 9th standard were given teaching manual oriented activity based classroom experience. Eight teaching manual of class 9 were complete effectively.The topics covered are Types of digestion and parts where it took place, Structure of tooth, Process of mechanical digestion in stomach and small intestine, Different organs involved in swallowing of food and its importance,Digestion in stomach - role of salivary glands,Role of liver and pancreas in digestion, Digestion in stomach, Digestion and absorption in small intestine  and Evaluation was made by asking questions from the topics.Students were given various follow up work like assignments and still model making.

REFLECTION ON EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES 

  During the fourth day of this week there was a speech competition related to the topic 'Importance of reading .'

WEEKEND REFLECTION WEEK 1

In this week on sunday our Class teacher Sreedevi miss had arranged an online meeting for evaluating the previous week activities occurred in the school. The meeting was scheduled at 5.00 pm .Our respected principal also joined with us.Miss also gave information regarding the blog writing and lesson plan writing.All of the 9 students had participated in the meeting and the meeting was started at 5.00 pm and stopped at 5.30 pm.
